What's this timing trick you speak of? Or is it "private"?

yes, sorry. Im not handing it out anymore.

Also, if you have a IX, its seems from PlanoEvo's post, that MIVEC changes help more to eliminate the stalling.

Raptord, adjust your 3 high octane ignition maps (i.e. TIMING) to the following to help with recovery.

Also, to quote "For those with cams, it is recommended to change your timing between 0 - 1500rpm between Load 0 - 50/60 to around *11 to *14" -

I don't think anyone is asking for you to review logs and build a complete tune, I myself would be curious to see what you know that is better that would work as far as timing goes.

Please help some fellow owners out.

To help with recovery increase the timing as it goes lower

500 14 14 14 14 14
750 13 13 13 13 13
1000 12 12 12 12 12
1500 10 10 10 10 10

Thats the trick! Now raise your mivec to 3.2 at 500 and 4.2 at 750 4.6 at 1000

Thats what worked for me not one stall since I did these steps!

This sounds like a great trick too. Never seen people use MIVEC at idle to prevent stalling.

it works combined with the timing raised in tandem. Not one stall since I used these together and I've tried really hard lights on ac full blast 5K clutch no stall! One more tool to make people independent of over priced tunes Dont get me wrong some people need tuners some dont thats all peace!

OH BOY...here we go again. Can you just drop it already? ? ?

Now that YOU look like the "Guru" (wasn't that the word you used for me?) you should be happy.

Let it go.

Well, I do understand not wanting to disclose things when you invest time and effort to try ALOT of different things and then find a solution to an issue and then people are asking for all that effort. Anyway, I just want to say thanks to all 3 of you for being kind enough to share and post the info. I am going to try some of those changes over the weekend and observe the results and will report back next week sometime.

Much thanks.
