Help a noob out...02 issues

I've had a P0136 and P0141 (rear o2 CELS) for quite some time.

I just recently tried disabling the FCA bit1 to help remove these CELs. I just did some data logs today and the PO141 code was gone and the P0136 came back on. I'm using ROM 94170015

I then came across this post (I haven't changed it yet):
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/7295715-post264.html

My question is, is what is the safest way to disable both of these codes. I don't have Tephra V7 yet, just the Periphery bits and the info in Post #241(link) implemented in Ecuflash. I've read a lot of old and new posts and some were referring to if you disable the rear 02 a certain way, your fuel trims might be affected (If I remember right).

I just would appreciate a definitive answer on what I should change via ecuflash to remove those two 02 housing codes.

Thanks so much!

I did finally get all 3 codes removed. I did the FCA bit 3 and bit 9. Then did the rear 02 heater patch mod.

If any of the gurus state that this is incorrect, please by all means let me know. However, the codes haven't came back and the car seems to be running just fine with no quirks so far.

Thanks for your reply. I am trying to remove the rear O2 using 9417008. From the thread you mentioned, it seems like I need to use the patches in posts 59 and 117 but I am not sure which periphery bits to disable...

It should. You just need the specific patch for your rom. It has to locate the bit in your rom to simulate the o2. You can also do the heater circuit patch on the rear o2.
