Hi all,
My turbo is spooling later after switching from Tephra v5.1 to V7.
We are talking about a FP Green (73HTA) that is charging 25PSI @4100 RPM when it was doing the same 25PSI @ 3700RPM with the V5.1
I think I have translated every map and the only difference is that I am now configured to run PSI boost targeting…
Even trying different settings, I can not have it working like before...
Any idea?

 

make a log of everything.
do 3 wot pulls.
switch back.
make a log again.
compare.

 

I did it: same AFR, same Timing, same WGDC, the only difference is on EGT.
I do not understand already, that's why I asked ;-)
I am surprised that nobody's experience the same lag.
The only way I still thinking about is regarding altitude management in the V7 with the PSI boost control which could be different regarding the Load logic...
I will try to set my V7 using Load control and apply the V5.1 settings...
Will let you know if I discover something and if someone have an idea, comments are very welcomed!

Do you have "windows vista"?
did u load both roms v5.1 and v.7 from the same EcuFlash program, from the same directory? Theres a thread somewhere that stated this will cause probs. and guess what, did for me! My car was knocking, boost was off, gears were off, and it felt like somethin was amis... Vista was cache'ing all kinds of fkn files and was reading off of them, rather than what I had in the program...

If this is the case, what I suggest u do is, completely uninstall the program (save ALL the roms/.xmls before u uninstall!) SEARCH your comp for any hidden files (after u uninstalled) that vista likes to cache (might need to DL "UAC" a program uninstaller) and reinstall the program in another location so that the files dont get crossed up. And ONLY run 1 version of a tephra rom on the program! Either v5.1 or v.7
I would also start w/ a completely fresh rom...
