ive been able to read write to my ecu and just this morning i tried uploading a new map, i get some error that says see log for details same thing with trying to write to it???? also if i try to log through evo scan it says no response from vehicle ecu?? also the car wont start? hope the ecu is wasted? anythign guys

 

check fuses (usually an interior light fuse),make sure your battery isnt dead/has enough juice and make the reflash cable is actually hooked up properly. can it log?

Make sure you have enough battery power, after that which cable do you have??

 

the 1.3 ive used you 50 times before haha..trying to charge the battery now

 

I have found if logged Voltage is below 12v the ecu will not flash and logging becomes inconsistant in terms of connecting

the first time i tried to jump it the car just cranked and cranked, the second time it started. anyone have any experience with fuel pumps working then not working before the go out??

its a walbro 255 about a year old

 

switch the key to acc. and you will hear if it primes.. if it primes its working..

 

do you need ecu unlocker to read your ecu?

 

no only when its locked by a tuner...
