troubleshooting connection
so just abruptly all my cables for logging and tuning went un-recognized.
ive uninstalled every driver, re-installed, etc. restart my computer and so on but no connections. it comes up with "unrecognized usb device"
please give me some ideas here... i went out tuning a bunch the other day and everything is fine, now its all useless and i cant even connect to anything. how does software work one minute, then completely wipe all traces of connections?
i need to go re-flash my car but i cant do anything

nope, only things i changed since this last weekends tuning session was afr, timing, and no lift to shift.
may have found part of the issue. computer crashed about 5 minutes after i posted that. luckily i didnt lose anything on it, since all my school stuff is on it
maybe it was the computer doing something to block external devices while it was clocking out for the day lol ill try again tomorrow or something and see if i can get a connection.. no idea whats going on here

In the device manager you can trouble shoot an unreconizable connection. What I would do is open up the device manager and then righ click go to properties and then trouble shoot the connection. I would also run a virus scan, disk defragmenter and check disk to verify that you have no corrupted clusters on the hard drive.
It may be worth it to back up everything important to you and just reformat the disk and reinstall your operating system.
