Tuning for bigger WG

I just bought a new manifold that has a tial 44mm flange on it. My current manifold uses a tial 38mm. So I will have to replace my WG to a 44mm and was just curious if a re-tune is needed since im going with a 44mm now. Would it need a re-tune even if its running the same spring? I hope I can just swap everything out and not need a re-tune.

If not, can someone give me some pointers on dialing my boost back to 30 psi? Im doing as much reading as I can before I swap manifolds and WG but there is just so much info lol.

What do you guys think?

Ok, so you think boost will not change much if any?

Who want to make a few paypal bucks to help me do any changes if needed after I do the swap?

it will be determined by the spring used in the wastegate.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...wastegate.html

according to this no difference. reason i say AFR will need adjusted is because you said you are getting a different exhaust manifold, which will require afr tuning most likely.

just make sure its the same spring rate.

but is the flange the same size as the 44mm? the manifold I got has a flange for 44mm. I think the flange on the 38 is a little smaller. im not 100% sure though. any one know? that would save a ton of money and I wouldnt have to worry about dialing back my boost.
