no probelm man. good luck with getting it dialed in, can be tricky at times.

I'm at work , but I'll check what fix I used. I want to say #3 . My car runs smooth with no "jitter" at all.

I'm trying to dial my boost in, and the car keeps throwing a system rich code. So I'm going to have to figure that out still.

ok guys here's some input, im on the 94170715 sd 2.0 rom. im using the stytter fix #3 "NOP for DeltaMasterLoadPos/Neg Threshold"

im not getting any jitter or stutter effect i had with the 9653.
i have been spending ALOT of time logging and smoothing out my 3d VE map tho so it transitions well. so i spent alot of time just cruising too. hope this helps

Non speed density related...july 8th marks the 60th anniversary of the Roswell UFO crash! Pretty crazy!

Hope you evo guys are still tuning! I'll be racing all weekend, my 9417 sd 2.0 has been great to me!

Would be tuning if the damn hose clamp would hold on the throttle body lol, waiting for a new tbolt clamp to show up.

That sucks, I always keep a spare lol. I got a new tbolt clamp and it holds! wot tuning is mostly complete now I gotta tweak part throttle areas of the ve map. One thing ive noticed is that I have a lean tip in issue but only with the clutch pedal depressed, happens only on warm up then goes away, anyone else experience this? My setup is fairly basic at the moment, stock injectors, stock turbo @ 27psi peak, o2 dump, exhaust, 3.5" intercooler, intercooler piping, intake.

Hi,
I'm almost ready to remove the maf. everything is tune and running fine on SD (evoIX) on cruise and on boost.
But I can't because I have a problem that I'm searching since almost a year and can't find it, need help!

When I write the SD map in the car, I run it, stop the car, it won't restart. I reload the SD program the car will restart without hesitation. stop it. It won't restart again, reload the program, it will restart without problem. I try to mess with start up map and thing like that but didn't change anything. It's like if there's a variable that need to be reset and don't. when I rewrite the program, it will start again...

any idea is welcome...

I am not sure if this thread is alive but I need some assistance.

I have an evo 8 that is currently running on SD with a 3 bar map sensor. I notice that my Map sensor KPA is not 1-1. It might be why i have a messed up 3d map.

0 0
16.33333333 19.9375
32.66666667 39.90625
49 59.84375
65.33333333 79.8125
82 100.15625
163.6666667 199.9375
327.3333333 399.875

I have an Omni 4 bar and i want to start over. I have downloaded the 94172715 and when i set up the injector scale and latency i was using with the 3bar the car will not start. It is 25% lean. If i drop the latency to 1.6 for 14 volts it fires up right away but that is almost double what it used to be. I suspect this is very wrong. I was reading through about 20 pages and can not find the answer.

When logging with evo scan should my KPA logged with OMNI 4 bar always equal load? I tried adjusting the kpa to load but then realized i would not have much resolution past 100 kpa which is 14.5 psi.

Is there an updated version that i should be using? Or better instructions on configuring the 4bar. All the information is scattered and I can not tell what is already in this rom. Thanks!

I am using ID 1000 injectors. I would love to know what others are using for these injectors.

I am still kind of confused as to how to properly access the 3d VE map. How do you combine the graphs? I dont know if my rom has the variables listed in the OP and Ive been reading to try to find somewhere that discusses it. I will edit the post if I find it.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Answering in the same order you're asking....

The 3D VE map is literally the first table after Tephra option in the Rom.

What do you mean combine the graphs? Do you mean migrate your 2d VE to 3d VE?

What ROM do you have?

Okay, the figure had confused me. I believe the ROM ID is 88591715 where it should be 88592715.

is there something I can do to change the ID to open the ROM as 88592715?

Yes there is, the very first post of this thread has a Download link for that rom aswell as the XML as you need both.

Changing the ID of either rom will just give you an error and not display all the tables of the rom when you open it in ECUFlash.

I currently have both the XML and the rom, im guessing if i want to see a 3D VE graph i just have to translate the current tune I have in the car into a 2715 rom
