Can I still use my "GM" 3 bar
I have an old auto meter electric boost gauge which I've confirmed uses a GM 3 bar. I'm planning on wiring it to the ecu for logging but the gauge readings are off by a few psi. It is supposed to auto 0 itself but it is inconsistently off, sometimes high sometimes low. My question is, if the gauge is inaccurate will evoscan get accurate readings from the GM sensor if i wire it to the ecu?

I see evoscan already has a GM 3 bar equation ready for logging to the MDP sensor location on the ecu. Its accuracy though is something you will simply have to determine on your own.
I'm assuming of course for some reason your sensor isn't screwed up in any way.
The reading is consistent at what ever it 0s to. Seems like the gauge is on its way out but the sensor still works. I wasn't sure if there was any communication from the gauge to the sensor (lots of wires on the gauge).
