need some help with software

i need to get the evo flash or evo scan software to tune my car... i already have the tatics cable

can someone point me in the right direction?

i search and found a few links but id rather someone on here with better knowledge inform me

thanks i just downloaded the evoscan.. now i have another issue... when i try to "read from ecu" i keep getting error message "usb cable in use or not connected"

but if i use the ecuflash program to read the ecu it works fine...

any ideas? the battery is good and i have a tripple charger on it

also if i use the evoscan to read my diag codes it connects fine...

1) Did all the drivers download and install properly when you downloaded evoscan?
2) What version of evoscan did you download?
3) What OS is currently on your notebook?

nope..same problem ...it keeps telling me usb in use cannot connect

Ironically mine seems to be acting weird now also... and on my windows 7 pc, but not my XP. Damn.

Do you have the 32 or 64 bit encryption... I just uninstalled my 2.8 and rolled back to the complete 2.7.0090 and everything seems to be working fine... but I have 64 bit.

Right click on the My Computer Icon on your desktop, scroll down to properties and all the information about your system should be under the General Tab as far as your system properties go.
