Another idea could be the fuel pump relay. They're a common problem on the X's, at least. I tuned a stockish one and it experienced the same problems, and we tracked it down to a bad fuel pump relay.

I have logs and tune here but am not sure how to post them, car is on WG pressure only and still doing it, FPR relay would not allow the car to start, I pressurized my hobbs switch and pump 2 runs fine, like I said IDC's havn't gone over 62, when I had only one pump and 2150's IDC's would go to 110+ even with just the Green and a 2.0 liter.

Don't think that's an issue on 8's and 9's. My primary is rewired too and I have a light wired up to check when it kicks on so I know it's at least kicking on via the pressure sensor above 6psi in my case.

To post it I'm pretty sure you have to zip it. Under where you type just push "Go Advanced" and attach the logs in the Manage Attachments area.

CBRE is there anything you can tell us about the rom settings that changed before and after the IDC glitch happened?

I completely understand your DC with one pump and your duty cycle with two pumps. All I am saying is that your duty cycle wouldn't change now with the two pump setup if something was wrong with one or something was wrong with the fueling setup somewhere. Your duty cycle is just a calcuated value for your IPW, RPM, and mapped fueling.

I'm thinking more along the lines of something with the double pump setup itself being the cause...not sure exactly what.

Is this the first tuning attempt on the double pumper? Are you absolutely certain the second pump is coming on during the run?

Maybe turn the second pump off completely and run low boost to see if the leaning out begins to occur at the same spot. Maybe disconnect the rail feed to a bucket or something and run both pumps for a short time to calculate fuel flow....run one pump and compare. Of course that would be only at 0 boost pressure, but at least a way to check.

It just sounds like something mechanical rather than ROM related. Of course it can be something ROM related as well. But if this is a new setup and first time using the double pumper, I would lean towards the physical setup first.

check FPR, ive seen this more than once on the dyno, car will start and run and you will loose all fuel control at a certain point if the relay is starting to go bad. just swap it with another relay that is just like it and test it with a pull, see what happens.

+1 There is a regular lancer with this 60% IDC problem as well I'd like to know if the fix would apply to him as well.

Sounds like an injector latency issue.

If it was latency I have the same injectors so mine would be off too...however I probably have a totally unrelated fueling issue

and what is wrong with your car? your ipw is set properly, your latency is fine last i checked since STFT is hovering within the proper %, and your injector scaling is appropriate for your displacement.

if you have problems contact me on AOL. and btw i dont use anyones latency settings on this forum but my own based on battery voltage of the vehicle and fuel trim front o2 signal.. so what do you mean yours would be off too? im confused.
