Well I bought a used evo and am having an overboost probelm and am hitting fuel cut. I took it to a tuner shop and they said it has probably been tuned before then put back to stock. As of now I can see that it has a cat back, gfb bov, and a filter. Can I somehow put the stock rom on there so its more drivable? Would that be safe? Or should I just spend the money on a dyno tune? Because I cant rev past 5500 or I hit fuel cut.

 

Do you have stock injectors? If so then you would be safe to run the stock tune

 

No damn clue lol. How would I tell if they are aftermarket?
