Hello guys, I have a problem.

I'm going to self tune my X, and get to know the car a little better. Reading tons of PDf, and forum notes. And finally deciding to tune it myself.

And I need a WBO2 meter, and decided on the innovate LC-1, and was thinking where do I connect it to??

Do I connect it to my laptop?, or do I connect it to the ECU. If I connect to my laptop, does it come with a USB to send the signal to the laptop?

And if I connect it to the ECU, which wire do I connect it to, and what value should I get the AFR reading from?

Most guides say I need a WBO2 sensor, and positioning it before the cat, and above the 9pm and 3pm marks so as not to damage the sensor.

P.S I don't plan to eye ball the gauges, I want to log RPM and AFR side by side.

OP2 can take a direct input of the LC1.

Evoscan has support for external wideband.

Either way, if using evoscan, you can log AFR from the wideband just like any other variable.

 

For LC-1 to OP2.0, you can try the digital link (special jack), or analogue direct to OP2.0:

im running a custom RA turbo but evox is the same concept , i plugged it on a 11 pm position like 5 inches before the oem 02 sensor on the DP

 

You have to install an additional o2 sensor in the exhaust stream. Test pipes usually come with an extra bung welded in for the wideband o2 sensor making install much easier. I don't know about the innovate, but my AEM wideband has a serial data out that connects to my laptop.

 

I am using a LC-1 With the o2 in the 3' o clock position logging is pretty seamless with the new evoscan. If I were to do it again though I would go with aem, its less finicky with the ground wires.

 

i just installed my lc-1 and wired it into the ecu. fairly simple install, just took me a while to keep things pretty. i plugged the wideband into the cat for now until i upgrade my exaust. its all working great so far with the tactrix logger.
