Don't think I ever said that. When I first started running FIC1050s and was having warm start issues, Jens put a set on this injector stand and found a very small drop forming after a long period of time (can't remember how long, but something of the order of 15-45 minutes). He told me that he subsequently altered his injector prep process for the Delphi injectors to stop this from happening. I never followed up with another set (and instead switched to FIC1100s which are not a Delphi injector), so I don't have any experience with how well it was fixed.

I was just being dramatic.
I apologize for throwing you in it.
I checked my fuel injectors today (FIC1050cc) and they are not leaking.
Soooooo back to the drawing board.
I am gonna order the fuel rail adapter from the dealership so I can hook up my fuel pressure tester. Hopefully its a bad regulator.
Also, I did some checks to the regulator with compressed air and here is what I found:
With the vacuum port disconnected, air will NOT flow thru the regulator.
with vacuum applied , air will flow thru it.
Does that seem normal? Should the regulator be completely closed with no vacuum/boost signal?
Your thoughts?

Ah.
If the injectors leak, it will only be under pressure. Did you figure out a way to pressurize them and observe the injector tips?
Putting vacuum on the pressure regulator lowers the pressure at which the fpr will allow flow.

I've been running the FIC 1050s since April & I am just now having some cold start issues. Warm starts seem to be fine but I will be keeping my eye on this thread & checking some stuff out soon.

I checked fuel pressure today.
36psi with vacuum applied.
45psi with vacuum removed.
That is within limits according to the Dealer service manual.
Also I pressure checked the injectors up to 90psi no leaks.
I am at a loss right now.
I am going to start checking the ignition system now.
I put new plugs in today. We will see if that helps.
Also the problem is slightly worse on E85 and slightly better on 93oct.

I poured some fuel into the intake mani about 2 ounces. It made things worse.
So its probly getting too much fuel.
Im gonna zero out the cranking enrichment table and see what happens.

Honestly, I'm not sure.
I completely removed all the emissions stuff, and very securely blocked it all off.
Problem went away after that.
Car runs great, starts great, I happy.
