How do you keep track of your roms?
BTW I'm also a software developer, but unlike most I dont think much of 'version control softwares'
If you really want a good version control approach, use Excel... insert links to your zip/folder with bin/xml/logs, add list of mods, add screenshots of maps, logs, virtualdyno plots, speeding tickets, etc

I use sugarsync instead of dropbox ( I use all of my dropbox space for other files). I prefer to do as much as I can on my desktop then sync it to my laptop. What I was mainly asking was a way to keep track of what changes you make. Excel sounds like it could be a good option also.
My problem is I am not as meticulous with my note keeping as I should be and I find that I have to go back and compare roms to figure out what changes I made. I was hoping to use versioning control where I can see which files havent been checked in and remember to check them in with the changes I made.
