Ful cut but why??

Title supposed to say FUEL CUT BUT WHY
I upgraded my HKS 272 cams to GSC S2 cams. I went from E70 to E90 and turned my timing down. I also went to a step colder 8 plugs. Thats all I changed. Now I get fuel cut right after 7k rpm and about 310 load. I checked all my fuel and boost cuts and they are maxed out. My max rpm is set to 8600 and my mph is maxed out. Same rpm and load. The idc drops to 0 in my log so I know fuel is getting cut. Also my AFRs sky rocket when fuel gets cut. Boost is set to 35 psi. I also have the Tephra mod.

Did you try using fuel cut x2 instead of the normal fuel cut?

Under global fuel settings I have fuel cut loadx1 and load cutx2 if that's what you are talking about. Fuel cut 2 is set to 638

Yea do you have it set to use fuel cut x2 or fuel cut x1?

Besides fuel cut, boost cut , max mph, and max rpm what else could cause fuel to get cut around 7k rpm and 310 load?

I just compared my logs to my old logs with the HKS cams. Its about the same load at 7k rpm. Also the fuel cut probably isnt from load since my peak load is about 358. Im guessing its some kind of rpm limiter. Anyone have any ideas?

Are you running SD or MAF? If it's MAF you can re-scale the MAF scalling down a bit and extend the Hz scale out further. If your on SD drop the Kpa to load ratio.

Still on maf. I have never touched the maf scaling so maybe that's it. Just not sure why it would cut now when it didn't before.

No, it's not clear why you are cutting. So I would suggest managing the problem, if you are hitting those loads it would be a good idea to extend and scale the MAF values. Here mine so you can see the idea.

what afr are you hitting before the cut?

have you done a boost leak test?

Yes, likely you'll run a bit leaner at high RPM, check it out with your wideband.

weird.

only time ive hit the hard fuel cut is with a big *** leak and off the charts rich.
