Evoscan auto-disconnect

I tried to datalog on my Subaru, at first it connects find but when i tired to do a full power run it auto-disconnects after 4K rpm.Did a few times and tried another 2 Subaru same thing happens.

I tried all my USB ports on my computer same thing happens and even tried the 2.7 evoscan version.

This is my error message,

Info: Initialize Vehicle ECU...
Info: Starting Subaru SSMII Init...
Info: Received 57 Data Bytes.
Info: ECU ID: A2101104
Info: Connection successful...
Error: FTDI Read Error - 4
Info: Datalogger Ended.

Anyone encounter this issue before and have solutions to resolve it?

I have seen other tuners use evoscan to log with success.

I am sure it be able to log, I used romraider for my 06 legacy gt but it will not connect?

How am I able to do logging for my car, only tried evoscan that can connect the logging but will disconnect after I do full load.

Can someone advise or guide me how to resolve this issue?

Thanks!

Since I already paid for the licsense, I might as well resolve the issue.

I be using evoscan on evos too.

I remembered that I use the 2.0 cable to log a Evo 6 it works fine Only after switching to 1.3U cable then this happens.

Could it be the cable issue?cable is brand new and 1st time using

Maybe your laptop has HP HDD protection turned on? the g forces in some laptops pause the harddrive. check you have laptop power settings on max performance, and try a few runs with hdd protection off. if it makes no difference then turn it back on.

Hi Hamish,

I have added you to my Skype contacts.Today i tried to log again from my 06 legacy and it work without disconnecting.

I just log 7 items in the data and the run was stable.

Now,my log has some problems.

My engine load always reads 100, and i am unable to log injector duty cycle. There is no option for me to tick, do i have to add in?

I still cannot log the mainfold absolute pressure as BAR, because psig reads way out.My car is only boosting 1.2 bar but i log 27 psi which is 1.8 bar.

Any ideas to resolve?
