PTE 1200cc hard start!?

I installed new PTE 1200cc injectors, used size and latency that were posted here in the forums, and it runs good.

But I have some trouble starting, it takes couple of second to start, and sometimes 2 o 3 turns on the key. There is too much fuel when cranking, I leave a round black stain on the wall, and have some smoke coming from time to time.

What parameter should I change in ecuflash to help start the car better?

Thanks

Does it start easier if you depress the throttle lightly?
What fuel?

My tune is not done, but scaling, size and latency seems ok when driving, WOT, etc.

I used the brand new seals and o rings that came with the injectors, and there is no fuel leak.

^ Um no, nothing wrong with the injectors... OP it depends on the ROM. You would adjust cranking primer initial pulse or initial cranking ipw v coolant temp.

Find your cranking tables and multiply each value by 0.65.
That will get you close (or closer than you are at present anyway) and may be all it requires as a gas/E85 compromise.

Thanks! I will try this and post results.

Is it the Cranking Primer Initial Pulse inside the main map fuel settings?

or Inside Global Fuel settings - startup there are 3: Initial Cranking IPW vs coolant temp, cranking IPW compensation vs time and IPW comp starting?

I don't believe in loading canned scaling and latency. I believe every individual car needs the scaling and latency customized for the engine and mods, octane and altitude as a whole picture. go get it pro tuned
