There are some differences in the JDM VII wiring (4 plug) and USDM (4 plug) but nothing that can't be fixed. Just make sure you don't get a 3 plug ECU for JDM VIII.

My evo 7 is 4 plug, and the ems 2 is 4 plug to.
The proplem is the diffenrt in few pin that wont allow the engine to start

You need to look at a pin out diagram for the model of AEM you intend to purchase, then compare to the JDM VII. Alternately contact an AEM dealer and see if they can supply a model specific unit.

as mentioned above there were two ecus for 7
they have fuel pump relay wired to different pins

Evo 7 ECU Case ID MN 132623 - Pin 22 fuel pump relay, Pin 8 - A/C comp relay
and
Evo 7 ECU Case ID MR 560648 - Pin 8 A/C comp relay, Pin 8 - fuel pump relay

other than that they are the same

swap the pins 8-22 over, maby that's the reason of your starting problem

This is incorrect since I have a MR 560648 ECu from a E7 in my Evo 4 right now I didn't have to swap the wires it works fine I think its the other way around
