New EVODROID7 EvoScan Android GPS/Logger/Reflashing CarPC Touchscreen Review
Lol.
Okay that was fun. I was just curious on different pricings when the product is live...that is all. I wish I could be cheap with this car. I am actually wondering if I should buy two devices so I can have one for my VR4 and one for my '13 WRX. I was trying to figure out if it would be cheaper to buy two now or later.
Thanks to the few Evo guys for showing their true colors.

So, back on topic
It's March 11th and I am very keen to get my hands on the Evodroid, as I am just fitting a whole load of new parts that I will need to modify the tune for so I will need to do some logging..
Hamish, any ETA?

Nice work, Hamish. Once you release the Android software, I will definitely be in line to purchase, as well as a new cable.
A feature request for the future:
Support the DMA logging protocol. I would imagine it wouldn't be too difficult (John Banks released his protocol info, VB code - Ziad has progressed greatly in the DMA/LiveMap app) and would help out the few of us a lot with this installed. MUT is probably well enough for digital gauges and will satisfy my use, but having DMA for super fast data collection would be a nice option.

UPDATE: Good TESTING this weekend.. all hardware tests have passed 24hour running and charging tests, and I have added more electronics to the 1.3DA cable this week so that you can do Evo4-9 AYC/ACD datalogging. Just have to continue testing and enhancing the Android software now. Shipping is definitely going to be soon.
Sooooo...we gotta bug who to get reflash capabilities on this fantastic new device? I know that I'd pay, likely so would the rest of us. Paypal is burning to donate. Hurry up and take my money!!!
