I was wondering if there would be any way to check codes on a 2009 Ralliart with the 3.0da cable, using either the evodroid7 or using evoscan?

You said this unit will be able to flash in the future. What's the timeframe on that? Should I take the plunge now and get a tactrix cable + reflash which a friend is offloading to me for a good price or should I wait?

great progress this week. although wifie is 9mths pregnant, lots to do around the house this weekend. EvoDroid7 is running really good, but just a couple of disconnect issues in the software, will have that ironed out this weekend.

yeah, I have started converting the evo7/8/9/X reflash software from vb.net(old gpsnav) to java for the EvoDroid7. it still needs about another 100hours for me to convert it over and test it. I'll continue working on that once the EvoDroid7 datalogging is smooth sailing and shipped.

if I was you I would get that other cable your mate is offering.. its always wise to have a backup cable.

When will it be smooth sailing and shipped? Can we please get a better estimate on delivery time? I am sure I am not the only one who is chomping at the bit for this! : ) Thanks for your time!

can this have a Video in cable so that my backup camera can be plugged in and automatically change view to backup camera whenever it gets a signal?

yeah the EvoDroid7 includes a small AV-IN plug, I'll see if I can get the pin configuration for you.

1) finish optimizing the Analogue Sensor inputs.. alone that can do 10,215 samples/second at the moment, so I'll think I'll leave it at that for now, seems every time I read the code I find a way to speed it up by 100% :-)
2) just need to write a java buffered file writer, threaded and with cache flushing to speed up the csv log files, reduce cpu load and increase battery life.
3) order some pc to mini usb cables, micro-sd to usb adapter, and spare car charger for it - because I've had some feedback that it would be good to include those, and they were expected to be included. to me they were all optional because everything is done over wifi, and openport 1.3DA cable charger. I guess it would be good to have a spare car charger to take it into another car without having to take the openport charger cable with you. and a usb to mini usb cable comes in handy for usb PC file transfers.
