Far as I know the only way you can get gear dependant boost is to download a complete Tephra7 rom. I don't think there is a patch just for that function.

Sorry but maybe im too stupid , i tried to do it but

I downloaded this xml here:

Option 4 96530706 (v7 + Mods) - Download | Mirror
  • Set Immob. HEX to 0x0040 (check to make sure your old ROM was the same)
  • mrfred psi based boost implemented as default (just edit Tephra's gear dependant map)
  • OBD II Inspection ready for EVAP and EGR
  • Disabled EGR, EVAP, and Idle Tests
  • Disabled P0300 code
  • Disabled lean spool
  • mrfred double fuel cut load limit implmeneted and set to 300 load (change to whatever you need this to be, read more)
Then i copy this file "TephraMOD-96530706-v7.xml" here: C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo

But if i open my Ecuflash there is nothing about gear dependant boost.

Is there something i forgot to do?

did you down load the .bin file as well or are you using your factory .bin. It wont work without downloading the rom that is linked in that thread as well.

Sorry for the delay. Basicly the patch you are looking for was custom programmed into that specific group of roms known as Tephra mods, it was never something that was included from the factory. The only way to get that function is to download one of Tephra's roms and the accompanying ".XML"s so that you can tune it...

You already found it... You can use either option 1 or option 4, option 4 just has some other things done to it already.

@ japanevo

Now i realised this. All the new tables of tephra are unlocked. Thnak you first of all!

But its normaly that now i have some double tables? For example, i have two times the "rev limit table" but one time in MPH and one time in Km/h. And i need just the one with Km/h.

The tables how i dont need i have to delete (always one successively)?

Did you mod your old .XML by adding the information from .XML that was included with the download? Or did you just paste .XML that came with the ROM into the ECUflash directory? There shouldn't have been any double tables in the .XML that came with the Tephra mod. None that I saw anyway.

Ya you should be able to to get ride of those other XMLs. I would move them to your "My Documents" folder and hang on to them just in case...
