Need A LOT of SD help...
id use tephra v7 2d speed density. look at the RPM ve table as a fueling table (higher = richer) so you don't get confused and make it more complicated then it really is. it will definitely change the afr.. you can test it by lowering and raising your rpm ve at idle area and get a feel for what it does.
if you have free time, then by all means play with the car.. you really wont be able to hurt the car mechanically by just trying to dial in the driveability with it.. just don't try to go WOT until you are certain your values are safe.
last resort, just switch back to MAF like ExViTermini suggested.
at the end of the day you can always switch back to something you know that works though.. that's whats nice about being able to keep flashing the car over and over.
good luck with your testing.. if you research you will find a lot of good info.
use google with evom tags and search.. google will index the forum for you and help you find content easier.

yep, I used the code and scaling from here for it: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/7381328-post1.html
I have not been able to get the 3d maps bc it doesnt look like it has been adopted for the 88590015 rom. I tried using partial code from the 8859xxxx code but it didnt work and could not build some of the tables. I am still looking for someone else that may have one adopted for my rom that I can add to my current without erasing everything that I already have

Ya I dont even try to search on the forums for info, I just use google.
That is where I am at right now, just sitting in my driveway idling and pulling into the street and back changing my values from one extreme to the other. Regardless of what I did, it made no changes to my afr. I was able to get it to idle good even though it is still at about 12.0 rich (if you raise rpms at all it maxes out lean and cuts its self out) and i noticed a little difference once I raised my open loop loads up. But for the most part it just doesn't seem to be responding to changing much at all.
tomorrow afternoon I will try some changes again with some of this info in mind and let you guys know what I come up with.
thanks

So my internet got shut off today bc they said they is a cable leak coming from my house. Total BS. And they aren't coming out to check it till tomorrow afternoon. So I am handycaped to my pos phone. I just tried open and closed loop idle and I can't get it to change afr at all. No matter what I do nothing changes my idle from around 12ish.
Could someone explain the "SD map sensor ve and cal." Table and how it effects things?

New find. Not only does absolutly nothing change the car but I puttered to the gas station at the edge of my neighborhood and every time I shift it back fires. I'm am under 2 or 2.5k rpm at around 16.5-18.5 afr
Is your map sensor settings right? Sounds like your scaled for the wrong sensor
make sure your map sensor is selected and save the rom.
RPM VE adds fuel at the RPM suggested in the array.
SD MAP VE adds/removes fuel according to KPA. You will want to log KPA/MAP
Its very well explained in the How to speed density prepatched evo 8 rom thread. I suggest going through that as much as possible.
You will have to tweak MAF scaling at some point or another, or possibly make your fuel map a little funky.
Sit at idle in OPEN LOOP. adjust VE so that your wb02 matches your target. You should be able to get OL idle in SD in about 15 minutes.

I don't have a map sensor kpa -> map volts. Closest I have to that is map scaling set at uint8 -> map output set at volts16
I really need my internet back I can't even look this stuff up and its just making me mad
Thanks for bearing with me I should be much better off tomorrow. Once my internet is fixed the entire rest of the day is going towards this.

so I have been reading since I got internet back on and am thinking that you are right. my scaling is messed up. The attached thumbnail where you have the KPA Omni 4bar circled. I have seen a couple people that have the name of there map sensor vs something else. Seems mine should be "SD Map Sensor VE and Calibration -> KPA Omni 4bar Map". Just what I have found. But I havent found yet how to add the omni 4bar scalling to the drop down list to place it in there.

I guess I have been reading sooooooo much that my in depth comprehensive reading began to turn more into skimming. Going through looking a little closer at some threads i have gone over several times but this time paying a little more attention and seeing where I went wrong

Hey guys could someone please tell me if this is correct.
I run rom: 88590015 but if I am reading this ( https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...hramod-v7.html ) correctly then I am thinking that i should be switching to 88591715 with 88590715 and all the XMLs will be directly compatible with my rom/ car
