Has anyone used an aftermarket solenoid with ecu boost control? Hindering as I have an extra greddy boost control solenoid and I'm not sure on spending 100 on a grimspeed one. Thoughts?

The solenoid I have is from a profec e-01 but I believe they all use the same solenoid. Also looks similar to the apexi avcr boost control solenoid I use in my truck. Lost almost all of the e-01 parts when someone broke into my shed, still have the boost sensor and solenoid. Don't have the wiring, display, controller, main unit.

 

Let me know if u going to sell that solenoid?

 

Either one works, but i would go with a 3 port. 3 port you can do dual maps no problem and easier to use as well.

 

So your saying I can use the greddy solenoid just like the grim speed one using the ecu controlling boost?
