Evoscan Wont Connect to ECU

I recently just bought an Evoscan for my 8. v2.9, 1.3DA cable
had it working the first day i got it but now it wont connect to my ECU.
It just sit there and cycle through these lines while trying to connect,

"Awaiting Init Response"
"Attempt baudrate 62500"
"Auto try in 1 second"
"Initialize vehicle ECU....retry #"
"Timeout, turn the car on/off"

(might have messed the order up but you get my point)

I have tried starting evoscan with the key in various positions and still get the same error.
Any ideas on what i could be doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated

i was having the same problem.
Try driving the car first and charge the battery, i know i sounds weird but if the battery voltage is low it wont flash.

All your drivers install correctly? I just went through an issue where they didnt want to install right. Figured it out finally. Open up your device manager and see if you have any showing they arnt installed, while being connected to the car.

mine will do the same thing if my battery is below or near 12 volts. I usually start the car for a few min, turn it off and turn on the ignition and it will connect.

are you talking about drives on my laptop? i haven't connected my laptop to it yet. This is just connecting the tablet (the in car one that comes with it) to my ECU.
