Idle speed

Evo 9
2006 EDM
88840017-v5.5-mods ROM
Full BBK turbo
M2 cosworth 272 Camshafts
1000 CC PTE Injectors (scaling 835)
Idle speed set to around 852 revs (don't remember the exact number).
Engine hot and running at idle, the Idle speed is = to the value set by ecuflash.
When running with the vehicle and arriving to a full stop (specially after pushing the engine) the idle hangs for approx 5sec sometimes it stays till 10sec around 1200 revs before it drops to the set value.
AFR at idle 14.7 but at the moment of defect the AFR is around 12.5 then when the idle drops the AFR follows it.

Any ideas.
Thanks in advance

If it's able to return to normal idle afterwards then in my opinion this is equal to excessive richness, you shoul adjust scale and latency.
What are the mods on your ride ?

Yea I am on a rich tune right now, my bov is vta and was told that was probably the cause, intake, exhaust, 35r turbo, stock motor and stock cams, bov is stock as well, I know my injectors are upgraded but cant remember what size, wanna say 880s but not sure

It can be fixed with adjustments to the idle stepper table.

Table adjusted and symptom is lesssss
But with the idle stepper table adjustment we will be solving the effect but we are not facing the cause.
What can cause this ?
since the inlet manifold is stock, stepper motor stock, No leak, there is something wrong that made us alter the stock table.
Do you think that the drop of AFR (12.5) pushes the ECU to act in this way ?

Regards

What happens when you make a change to desired idle-neutral and desired idle-drive?

The values set for "target min idle" and "target idle with AC" the ecu reaches them but with time lag (after pushing the engine a bit).

When I changed the value in "idle stepper motor table" it became less but I faced the P0505, I returned the values to stoch in order to get ride of the fault.

Since my engine is equppped with M2 272, I needed to set the latency a bit high (attached) in order to reach an stftf changing from -3% to 3% at idle, so i reduced it to get to +24% at idle and the idle hang around 1200 (is now significantly less= result is better than messing with stepper table) and without any fault.

I'm still working on it and I'll inform you of the results ... If I reach any solid ones .
I have doubts specially after reading the post suggested by "ReaperX".
Till then Cheers
