One quick question. How come very time I read my Ecu my car starts to idle really crappy.

This is what happens:
I read the Ecu because I'm trying to look at my time and adjust a few things (a problem on it's own because I don't feel to have the right XML file)
After that I start my car and everything seems normal.
I start to drive it and every time I come to a stop it idles like total crap. Idles at 400 an slowly comes back up to normal at about 950-1000rpm
After I unplug that battery for about a half hour and reconnect it it runs completely fine.

Am I doing something wrong?

I did not write anything to my Ecu since I got the car.

 

Reading your rom would not effect your idle or cause any issue that you are referring too at all. Flashing stuff back to your ecu (even if no changes were made) would momentarily cause the car to run a little funny as the iac and idle and fuel settings get settled in again.

 

Go put 50 miles on the car, then it will have all reset, and will be fine, Its just like when you unplug your battery and re-connect it.
