I have a 2003 Evo 8 using 94170015, I downloaded what I need I think but my laptop is trying to open it with WINRAR? Whatever the hell that is and its saying I have to buy it. I just need to know what file I need to put in the ecuflash rommeta data and where it is? Sorry for the dumb question...

 

Honestly, if you're unsure how to open a specific file type.. then learning/explaining ECUflash and definition files may be a bit exhausting.. Not to sound rude, but there is plenty of how-tos on here to figure it out.

In a hut shell, download ECUFlash, Download rom files with definitions ( prepatched if you prefer ), drop definition files in rommetadata folder then open ECUFlash, open rom.
