Load in Evoscan v2.9
Load in Evoscan v2.9
Hi guys, just starting out with logging.
I've got Evoscan v2.9, but not sure if I need to be logging 2 byte load and RPM or just 1 byte?
The software already has Load MUT 2Byte Mod and RPM MUT 2Byte Mod so I assume that is the 2 byte stuff and I don't need to be making any changes.
However the description for these fields in says "Depreciated now, use 1 Byte instead".
So what's the deal? I thought 2 Byte was the way to go, or is that outdated info now and I use the 1 byte measures in the software?

You're fine with regular 1byte rpm unless you rev higher than something like 8250 or so.
For load, if you're on a non-tephra rom, you should use 2byte load (make sure it's set up properly in your MUT table). On a tephra rom, we usually use 1byte load.

thanks for the help.
Just to confirm I've done it right.
I've added code to my .xml definition for my ROM (90550001) to get the MUT table showing in Ecuflash. I can see that already the MUT00 value is 885C and the MUT01 value is 885D, so am I good to go?
Also the function in Evoscan for Load MUT 2Byte Mod is 0.3125*x. Is that also correct?
