GM 3 Port/ Tephrav7 Help

I have converted over from a Hallman mbc to a gm 3 port.

I have looked over multiple threads for install and base tune. I have my ecuflash table set up correctly in both global and main boost control. However I appear to be running gate pressure no matter what I change now.

Yes I've done boost leak test. I was boosting 30lbs with Hallman with no problems.

Yes the ebc is plumbed correctly. Although I have the port left for behind MAF left to VTA.

What could I be overlooking

Thanks in advance.

Either it's not plumbed correctly or the solenoid isn't working.
Pulse the output in Evoscan to see if it actuates.

Also, drop those start values to 50% if you have a stock actuator.

Yeah I started at 50% I was in the process of turning it up to attempt to raise boost. 85 was just where I stopped. I will try to actuate via evoscan.

So I tried to manually activate the 3port via evoscan. The solenoid does not click or make any sounds.

Next step will be to test manually. Both harness to assure its getting power and solenoid.

I just want to confirm. Is this a 5v or 12v circuit?

12v and ecu switches ground wire to activate

riddle me this......

ok so i got my hands on a factory solenoid.... when i activate via evoscan it clicks.. which is good i don't have to chase down the harness.....

next problem....

so if a take the gm 3 port with no harness and apply 12 volts you can here it click. like it should.

(all parts came from spoolin, gm 3 port and wiring pigtail with resistor)....

ok so if i attach the pigtail and try to manually put 12v i hear nothing....

so at this point you would think the pigtail is bad right???

well i tested continuity with the follow with results....

pigtail
wire 1 .0 resistance
wire 2 10 ohm
solenoid 2 ohm
whole assembly 12 ohm when testing the whole circuit.

i am clearly missing something. Thoughts or should i just cut the resistor out and be on my merry way???

What about the connector? That is the only other part that could cause the problem I guess.

It mimicks the stock BCS resistance so that the ECU driver circuit doesn't flow too much current and overheat the chip. Many people run without the 10 ohm resistor and ve no problems. I wouldn't worry about it. Plug it in and get tuning
