mpg on 2.3 questions
Maybe you are thinking of gas pedal travel. A larger engine would take less gas (pedal) and RPM.
you are in closed loop while cruising, so your fuel and timing maps aren't a factor. as for the other settings? i dunno, since i'm not to great at tuning.
i wouldn't imagine you would be too worried about MPG if you are building a 2.4L with a big turbo. you can't have your cake and eat it too

Timing map is always in use in both closed and open loop. Its the only map for timing advance, and the computer does not do calculations in closed loop to optimize timing like it does for fueling. What's in your timing map is what you get.
I get ~16mpg on 91 octane with mixed city and freeway (80mph) and spirited driving with the setup in my sig. E85 I get about 11-12..

thanks lgtd i have noticed about the same. 16-17 since the snow started melting. and leaning out my transition fueling. i also cant quite get my cruise timing high enough. egr adder doesnt do dick. main spark map seems to top out at 39-40* but way better and i have turned it up to 20psi and im at about 75% dc.
