The ECU input being used for the Analog ECA's to use is being borrowed from the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor, on AUDM there is no such sensor, but there is on USDM.

So while USDM allows for easy connection (being that you just tap a wire and disconnect the real sensor), it has the added hassle of having to override the DTC. Whereas the AUDM car doesn't have a DTC to worry about but there is no wire to tap, so you will either have to find an ECU PIN (I have 50ish laying about if anyone wants one) OR use an alternate method for getting Ethanol Content into the ECU...

Brilliant. Easy to insert a pin, I've got a bunch here. Pin 112 yeah? What address is the pin at? Really looking forward to trying this

A email I got .. I asked about the plug and play ...

"Yes I am, I'm expecting an order of connectors this week that will allow me to make plug-and-play modules that will connect to the fuel tank pressure sensor connector. I should have a solution available very soon."

Thanks for pointing me in the general direction. Any idea what this command line would look like?

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong. Flex fuel just allows you to have pump fuel and e85 in the same tank. Before on Tephra V2, you can have dual maps. One map running pump fuel and the other running e85 switching back and forth but you had to have an empty tank before switching maps and filling either or. Now with Tephra V3, its one map allowing both fuels to be in the same tank.

O ok. So I guess it's the ability to swap back and forth on your own? By simply switching Fuel and reflashing the appropriate map?

No need for reflashing between 2 maps anymore with Tephras new version.

The fuel flex sensor measures the octane of the fuel and adjusts the tune accordingly, so if you go from pump to ethanol, then the fuel flex sensor measures the change in octane and selects the appropriate tune automatically. Basically, using this stops the risk of damage to the engine by pushing the car on a tune which was made on pure e85 when you had some other fuel left in the tank

Pretty sure it was safe to assume that's what he meant.

But yeah shouldn't be long considering all the posts on facebook groups and what not offering the setup already.
