I have bumped my WGDC up to almost 100% across all of 1st gear trying to build more boost and am surprised by how much more and more the wastegate needed to stay closed to build boost.
I have S3 cams and a 73 HTA Green turbo.
Does this seem normal? If so are the cams making me spool a lot slower in first or is that pretty standard for even a somewhat small turbo like the Green?
Cool. Just checking. I was guessing it was normal. I've tried to keep it leaner than I normally do spooling in first and got a little better but still seemed really slow to spool so I was just curious.
