"RAX Patch Version 3 - Official and Latest"
Hi folks.
I did find an "SST Temp" memory address a while back. It's used to trigger the SLOW DOWN message. It doesn't look like it's a true temp reading from a sensor, though; instead, it appears to be some calculated/simulated temperature value that the SST is giving the ECU... based on ~magic~ or something.
Still, it's slightly better than nothing, and it's able to be read using standard mode23 style logging.
I should be able to cross-reference from my "known" ROM image to other ROM images for this, and find the equivalent address for you. What ROM ID(s)? Hopefully I have the ROM images in question on file somewhere (but it's been a while!)

52690322! Thanks man, you rock!
I am also having weird issues trying to get my rear o2 voltage to rear correctly. I was trying to log the rear o2 voltage (actually wideband analog output) as well as logging my wideband's serial output data, so that I could develop an accurate evaluation based on the calibration present in the controller. Seemed right in my head anyway...
I had to switch to golden 2008 USDM v1 EVOX in Evoscan to get it to read rear o2 as volts. In RAX patch as well as MODE 23 EVOX USA, it seems to have a multiplier applied or something. I see values between 0 and 300. certainly doesn't seem to be the proper 0-5v.
Using regular logging I got an eval of =2.3*[rearo2volts]+10.1 for the wideband. Gonna have to try it out... but still, any ideas why I get random numbers logging rear o2 with "x" eval with mode 23 and rax?
thanks!
EDIT:g
figured out I need the 255*5 expression in there and got it working pretty good. After a few revisions and rechecks, I landed on 2.46*[Rearo2volts]+9.72 and see data in the logs matching very closely. should be good enough...

I don't have 52690022 ROM image, but I do have 52690021. If the logging addresses haven't changed across those versions, your "SST Temp" mode23 address should be 808744... 2-byte logging value. I use x-10 function to get Celsius.
Be aware that this number is probably DERIVED instead of some direct-from-sensor value, so it may be of questionable use. It does seem to be used to trigger the SLOW DOWN message, though.
See if this reads as something resembling a temperature!

Here is the latest ZIP of all RAX-supported ROM XMLs. This includes 56940014 ROM ID.
I tried uploading this to the first post, but EvoM kept throwing an error. For now, this will have to suffice.
