Pin 9 on OpenPort 1.3U
Hi, I think you have all heard about the pin 9 on OpenPort 1.3U that can damage ETACS on some EVO 9. The fact is that I use my OpenPort on 2 car, a subaru and a Evo, so I can't remove the pin 9 on the OpenPort.
Can I just Cut the pin 9 on the plug in the car? It will remove the danger no?

I wouldn't do that. Has it happend to you before? If not, then don't worry about it. Worst case is you will have to replace the etacs which you can buy used off ebay and it's easy to replace.
