Hi all,

Wondering if you could please assist.
I've had my Evo 6 with Evo 7 ECU tuned professionally and am happy with it, however wanted to add a couple pops and crackle. I pulled the tune/rom from my ECU (90550701) and have followed guides on retarding the ignition and adding a bit of fuel.

I don't have SAS anymore so I'm limited to the Fuel and Ignition tables.

However, even with the below I don't get ANY pops/bangs at all.. zilch..

Have attached my tune if anyone has time to check and see if I'm missing something. The only thing I can see is the global retarded ignition limit is -5.. Maybe I need to change this to -15?

Would think you'd have to play with the fuel cut tables too as they will likely over ride that section of the map anyway?

 

Yes, you need to adjust the ignition retard limit. And also may need to play with fuel cut tables.

I couldn't get it happening in the end.. so have reverted maps and will just concentrate on other things
