Someone with 53050012 (53050312) TephraXMOD V3, and spark cut patch?
Spark cut works, but launch maps none. Only on mine?

 

I have the same issue. Unable to have the launch maps work with Tephraxmod V3. Rom 56920008. Anyone able to shed some light on the problem. Spark cut patch works fine

 

Have you contacted Tephra? I know for awhile he had to send you a patch to enable launch maps on SST cars

 

I have contacted Hamish from Evoscan. He and Brian are looking into it 👍🏼

 

Also I'd like to apologize to everyone for not responding, I was in a car accident on Memorial Day and have been very busy dealing with insurance, trying to get caught backup.

Guys, can anybody please help me load this patch to my ROM? I'm a 2012 MR on tephra V1 tuned. I know the correct patch corresponding to my ROM but not sure where I paste this patch onto when I look at my ECUflash.

I'll paypal you beer + pizza money!

You copy the stuff from the patch text file to the xml corisponding to your romID under C:\program files(x86)\opensource\ecuflash\romdata\mitsubishi\ evo

 

this might be a stupid question .... but if i want to engage both have tephra launch map fuel cut and spark cut, i just set both rpm limiters to the same rpm? correct?

 

The launch maps activate without changing the fuel cut limiter

 

Does anybody have an issue where the spark cut feature is breaking their spark plugs? I've had two plugs now with broken ceramics.

 

I have not. I use it A LOT too. Maybe just got bad plugs?

Interesting, lucky me! This was two different spark plugs from two different vendors bought at two different times. For this most recent batch I bought them directly from the dealer so we'll see if it happens again

 

Yeah, I run negative 15 timing and add some fuel. Are you making sure to add fuel ?
