How aggressive is your timing? I guess it's possible that it could crack the plugs, but i doubt it since the ignition happens outside of the chamber with enough negative timing

 

I had timing at -10 and plenty of fuel. I'll try lowering the timing some more and see how that works.

 

Timing isn't really aggressive, and even if it was, you're right. It shouldn't have much of an impact since it's mostly outside of the combustion chamber. I've decided to disable the patch for now until I have more time to log and adjust lol

Anyone here that sits on fully functional "launch map" thats suitable for a pretty stock RA? My setup is boostpill and open filter. And of course reflashed tranny And I´m also on tephra v3.

 

I plan to hopefully have this by the end of the weekend, so long as work doesn't get involved. I will let you know if I get it working, unless someone gets back to you sooner.

But i have problem with it.
'11 EDM SST
Stock rom 56920006. Installed 56920008 Tephra v3 + 0008 patch.
Stationary rev limiter works but it uses base timing and fuel maps instead of tephras launch map.
How to fix it ?

I have a question, I have a 2009 ralliart USDM and I added the xml and setup the rom. Does everyone using this patch have a flashed SST in the ralliarts ? I flashed mine and have S-sport mode, but for the life of me I cant get the launch mode to work. I though I read some of the 2009 had an issue with launch, but I see many 2009 that are using launch mode, with this spark cut fine. Am i missing something ? I have tried a regular rom, i tried it on tephramod V3 ... my car is in S-sport mode, ASC off , foot on the brake, mash the gas and it either does 1 of 2 things, revs right by the stationary limit or if i press the gas a little slower you can feel the clutches start to grab which is not what we want right ? any advice here would be great... been trying things for weeks with no luck.

 

I want to bump this. I know this is for X/RA's but any chance of this happening for a stock 8/9 ECU??
