Boost desired engine load setup
Boost desired engine load setup
Hi. Boost desired engine load.... am i right in thinking if I'm seeing 140 load at 2500rpm, and my offset is 100, I should set my BDEL at 40? On the standard rom it's 108 with an offset of 80 at 2500 which would make 188 obviously, but surely I'm seeing more load than standard, unless ive been too gentle bringing in the boost? It's at 1.7bar by 3500rpm... Also because I'm seeing 270 peak load, should I raise my offset to 120 so the 159 BDEL limit doesn't stop me targeting 270?
Any help appreciated

Yes you can do it that way. Anyway the math checks out.
I personally usually use 200 as the offset. Well, back when I tuned boost control via load target instead of PSI target.
You should use PSI target.
