Unknown Rom
Unknown Rom
I have been trying to get my Evo8 started. Its a full build, and needs lots of help. I went to pull the ECU, and kept getting an unknown rom Error. Attached is the SRF File, and any help that I am given would be greatly appreciated. Its pretty chilly out here in Kansas. Let me know what needs to be done in order to start this process.
Looks to me it's 94171715

So in reference to below, because I do not have everything in front of me, how can I add this mod to my ECO flash in order to read my rom.

Download ecu flash, https://www.tactrix.com/index.php?op...out=blog&id=36
Download the zip file http://www.norcalmotorsports.org/use...nem-sd-fix.zip and put both 94170715 and 94171715 xml files into C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo
Grab a beer, sit down and open the file, panic, then realize you're probably in over your head. Then decide to take it to a tuner or spend the next few years sifting through 10 years of forum history to learn everything about tuning an evo on speed density.

LOL, just trying to get my crank done. I’m already planning on spending the money to get it the rest of the way.
