ecuflash could not recognise rom image

ecuflash could not recognise rom image
Can someone help me.
I use ecuflash v 1.42, i tried to read my cars ECU and this error comes in: "ecuflash could not recognise this rom image using any of the current definitions", my car is Evo8 JDM, which was tuned once before. It has evo8 RS ECU. Which rom definition should I use or how do I check the ROM version of my car ?
Before it was tuned, it had FQ300 maps.
I was thinking that this could be because ECU was locked before, but same problem appears even if I use ECU unlocker.
