Well you are some what on the right track. Flashed test2 to car and checked evoscan and i didnt see maf air temp scaled was reading what seemed to be ambient temps.
Still have the cel on though. Think that is due to the tuner pegging the MAT temp to 90.
I attached the log and heres the screen shot of codes.
Have you tried clearing the codes? I have them disabled so I am not sure why they are still showing up.
Also, without an actual IAT sensor, I do not think you can have the Air Temperature reading. If someone knows better please correct me.
Although the car should drive fine, I think. Let me know.
If it drives fine, no CEL, and MAF Air temp is reading correctly, you will just need to wire an actual GM IAT sensor into your UICP before the TB and run the wire to the ecu.. I will check which pin exactly.
Looking at the rom test2 you gave me the temp tables looked to be back to normal but the car is still idling high like it was still pegged at 90 degrees.
I honestly feel like the wires to my sensor might be wired in backwards.
Doesn't explain why car wont run off fuel temp sensor though. other than a bad fuel temp sensor.
So cleared the codes and there was only one that remained. It was p0110 intake circuit malfunction.
Decided to try the FIC2150rev1 rom set to IAT as the input and i get the same code now p0110.
So I changed the input over to the fuel temp and no cel using the 96530706 rom. Car just runs like **** using it. Tried changing all the tables over to what the tuner inputed and I cant get it to run as smooth as he did still.
Here is the rom I just flashed to car. No CEL. Attached a log as well. Should be fuel temp as the input
So looking at the log with the fuel temp as input my injector pulse width doesn't move. I would think that i should see it move with me giving it throttle.
Well I think Im onto something anyway. I had a suspicion that it was the pos harness the shop i had do the work to the car sourced. That and the fuel temp sensor is dead also.
For what ever reason car isn't throwing a code when its running off fuel temp sensor and all the parameters are right. Temperature was always reading way off know matter what ROM the car was running off. The tuners pegged one or mine.
So i ran a new set of jumper wires from ecu to GM IAT sensor and flashed car over quick to run off IAT and I got no CEL's and actually got ambient temperature readings in evoscan.
Going to go through it all and set up another ROM from scratch and see what happens.
