Full disclosure: I'm new to using ECUFlash and coming from AEM EMS. '03 US Evo 8
I'm trying to use ECUFlash to look at the current tune on the car, but all I'm getting is an .SRF (or .BIN) file with ECUFlash and can't see any of the parameters/maps. I've loaded the Tephra7 xml and bin files to my ECUFlash folder. Is this because the tune is locked? If so, can someone help me with unlocking it? If not, what am I doing wrong?
Hi M4Lki3r, your ROM ID is 94172715, which I imagine is the DMA version of Tephra V7 for 94170015. I don't have the xml's for this, but you will need a DMA xml, V7 xml and standard xml for 94170015.

Do I need v5.94170015 or the v7.9417075? The numbers are so close that I want to make sure I'm tracking down the right files.
Tephra has the v7.9417075 files at http://www.tephra.it/Evo7-9-V7/ which is what I thought I had, but maybe I put them in the wrong spot or do I need v5.94170015?
You need to download the 94170715-TephraMod-V7.zip file and extract the TephraMOD-94170715-v7.xml file to your "C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo" folder
I downloaded those files and wrote them to the folder. I overwrote them because they were already there from my previous attempt. I can download the rom but it won't let me open any of the maps. I've got an export of the log at https://github.com/m4lki3r/m4lki3r/b...er/ECURead.log
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
Something's not right here.
Your log file link is not working.
Try adding these two XML files to your "C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo" folder. Replace whatever is there, and then reopen your saved ROM file in ECUFlash.
