I have a 2003 Evo 8 and I used my tactrix and ecuflash to pull the current tune from my ecu. When it saved, it saved as a SRF file. This would not show me anything in ecuflash and when I try to open it up in the app, I would get "Ecuflash could not recognize this rom image using any of the current definitions" Please let me know what I am doing wrong.

 

Your tune is not stock so you dont have the xml definitions to view it. Its likely running a Tephramod V7 Rom.

Go to this website and download the Tephramod V7 for Evo 8.

Unzip the file and add the xml definition to your Ecuflash folder for Evo.
C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo
