Everything is stock in that log, except for the MIVEC table. Stock boost control, timing, fuel, etc...

Fixed that just now. Thanks again. :-)

Try bumping the BCLO to 100 and you should see smoother boost.

hi mrfred, thx for this thread really amazing.
I'm ok with load based boost control, but would like to increase the
frequency the ecu checks & correct wgdc vs load (in my case it's load...).

what should i do with my xml file in order to achieve this modification??
i have a edm evo 9...

Dumb question: To rescale rpm axis is MWGDC (BWGDC) tables, if one changes rpm values by clicking cell and entering desired rpm does that make an effective change to the table in the rom?

Yep. All three BWGDC tables will change when one is changed. I think that the target boost table will change as well.

I assume this applies to rpm axis in other tables as well (open loop load, fuel map, ign., etc.)?

No Open loop, fuel and ignition all use different RPM addresses to BDEL and each other.

If there are sets of tables, e.g., spark tables, fuel tables, changing the axis on one table will cause it to change on the others too. Changing the rpm axis on the spark table will not change the rpm axis on the BWGDC table though.

Looks like I've hijacked this thread. So since this method doesn't work well with the stock bcs/ pill system, will using the GM 3 port allow boost control to work in the way the method intends. I really like this method as it is independent of weather change, where I live we can see great variance in day to day weather (i.e. last week it was 60 F at one point, then it snowed, now its in th 20s).

Yes, the GM 3-port works with direct boost control. The only downside is you will have to splice into the harness to connect the 3-port.

Thanks, don't mind the splicing at all. I just don't want to get it 90% dialed in and learn that there is a major shortcoming ( as I have recently with the stock bcs).

I know what you mean...I spent hours dialing in the direct boost in 3rd gear. It was perfect. Then I tried it in 4th gear and the car was overboosting and the BEC (set as mrfred told me) was pulling boost like crazy.

I was really disappointed. I just acquired a Vishnu bleeder. It is the same one that mrfred is using. I might try direct boost control with it. mrfred uses it with direct boost and it works.
