Too bad their system probably has AYC integrated as well. In reading it looks like one mode might lock the center diff. full time as they speak of increased tire wear...

I've brought this system up in several threads. It would be neat if someone knew more about it.

GEMS sells a modified acd/Ayc unit to Rally peeps that is programmable as well. It looked pretty pricey though.

garagehrs-dot-com is source for pic..
can anybody tell me how to order the ACD flash kit from Garage HRS Japan.

i sent an email but it seems they dont communicate in English. Do they have an agent or dealer in US?

So it looks like the flash unit interfaces with the ACD ECU out of the car and flashes it with the serial cable?

That would be awesome if ecuflash had that capability. I wonder what program they're using to do it.

Look at the Garage HRS unit... The little black box on the top left is the interface device. The A/C adapter plugs into that, as well as the serial cable. The wire loom will then plug into the interface device to power/communicate with the ACD unit... then run the software...Looks pretty straight forward as far as the idea but as usual I have no idea about programming sortware....

I'm able to read the AYC Ecu. I readed a stock one and a Ralliart. I also can write then how i wish.

I'm working in the chiptuning company and i have a tool that makes also this ecus.

Unfortunately, i'm in Romania which pretty far.
But if somebody really wants, i can write anything that he wants inside the AYC ecu. I will also post a bin file of a stock ecu for the dissansembly guys.

NOW

Ralliart has 5 types of AYC ecus. I put my hands only on K2 model which is for gravel rallies.
Did anybody used something different??? I'm curious which is the best AYC variant for road?

If somebody has any ideas, i'm opened to anything

ok are we talkin AYC or ACD?? i have never heard of other versions of AYC

usually they just go from AYC to LSD.... if however you can manipulate the AYC ROM i would love to know more.... 50/50 split on both rear wheels 100 percent of the time or on WOT would be grreat....

If they are the same ECU, when you pull the AYC are you also pulling the ACD code? Is this for the Evo 8,9 or X?

Please post the bin file.

I can definitely host the file for you if you need... plenty of space and bandwidth. PM me for an email addy.

Also, if you wouldn't mind sharing some info with tephra, JCSBanks, MrFred or anyone else on how to read/write/interpret that would be great!
