But when I select the com port on evoscan I select the com3 which already change it in device manager as well it doesn't log anything it's just showing the x and it also gives me 3 options of aem but I don't know which one. Oh and I ground mine to the metal frame underneath the steering wheel, is that fine? Pease help

theres a formula on here if you are using the AEM wideband to get your gauge to match up with your logging, just takes some adjustments, just search AEM wideband formula in the search it should come up

same here!!! I have EVOSCAN 2.9, i get the ding on my laptop, software installed correctly, but it does not read at all!!! I select external WB box and nothing, I select all the wideband boxes and nothing. I am going to try the writeups on page 2 and 3 to see what happens. I have vista and windows 7 both 32bit. Also the prolific cable as well.

You can get it working with the analog AEM gauges, that's what I use. You just need another piece of hardware to go between the 05v analog output from the gauge and turn it into serial data.

Here is the link for that part. https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail...hyby%2FQ%3D%3D

Then its the same as setting up one of the serial output ones basically. Find it in evoscan, input the right equation and verify results.
