Bumping this thread as I just installed the ID 1000's. Attached is a graph I made to determine my latency settings. I first plotted out the listed latency values sent with the injectors, then I added the Ecuflash voltages and plotted each one from there... I noticed with rawkus's latencies plugged in, the overlap was at 11.72 volts, where mine is at 14v where we spend most of the time... I tried to keep all the latency values set to what we can select in Ecuflash, but I don't have my laptop in front of me so some aren't accurate...

Plotted with ID's voltages & Ecuflash's voltages

With just Ecuflashes voltages and smooting applied

scaled to 835
LTFT Low= -0.8%
LTFT Mid= -1.75%

Have you guys done anything with the base latency values?

If it is the same scaling as the normal injector latency, then the ECU has an offset of 0.576 ms added to it. When you add that latency into the setup, it changes the higher voltage dead times by a large amount.

These values are based on my IDC dead times.
Code:
			IDC1000 Stock
Voltage Latency Table Total Latency Latency Table Total Latency
4.69 5.544 6.120 3.312 3.888
7.03 2.544 3.120 1.68 2.256
9.38 1.344 1.920 1.032 1.608
11.72 0.744 1.320 0.672 1.248
14.06 0.408 0.984 0.432 1.008
16.41 0.168 0.744 0.264 0.840
18.68 0.024 0.600 0.144 0.720

I also have Bosch EV14 and cannot make car start warm OK (( So cold start is fine. Hot start is fine but if the car is somewhere between - 5-15 cranks are needed to start it (( Any idea what to change? Thanks!

fic1100's

EDIT: Also, I have been told that the warm start issue with the ID1000's has been fixed for some time (at least six months). Did you buy yours new, and if so, how long ago did you buy them and where did you buy them?

OK, so I'll be ordering these ones.

I don't have ID1000, I have FIC 1000 but from Fuel Injector Connection and not Fuel Injector Clinic. They share the same injector from Bosch EV14.

Ah, the EV14 body only comes from Bosch in sizes up to about 800 cc/min, so it has to be modified to flow 1000 cc/min. I wouldn't necessarily expect any issues arising from an EV14 from Fuel Injector *Connection* to be related to any issues from an ID1000 injector. Anyhow, I'm sure you'll be happy with the FIC1100s.

well, i wouldn't myself, still, it's exactly how they're acting up.

btw, do you happen to know, how come that FIC 1050 and ID1000 share the same ev14 design and have completely different scalings/latency times? a bit strange to me, really..

The FIC1050 is based on a Delphi low impedance injector. Its the FIC900 that is based on the EV14 body. The FIC1100 is a Bosch high impedance injector, but its not the same body as the EV14.
