New VI 2.3l Build Issue

Hey guys i just finished my 2.3 stroker build. Gsc S2 Cams, Manley Crank,Rod, Wesico Pistons, Port and polished head

Now breaking it in

Having an issue with a lean idle. I am still on the Stock ECU and Stock MAP. Car is getting tuned this week. Would the stock MAP be able to run the car ok for break in?

The stock tune should work of you have stock injectors and MAF. If it isn't working in would look at a mechanical issue. I wouldn't go running big boost on a stock tune if the compression is higher than stock without a proper tune. But to cruise around and drive to get tuned it should be fine.

You will hit load cells at low RPM and moderate throttle that the OE mitsu engineers never even thought of possible. Be easy with it. Watch AFR's and stay in closed loop as much as possible.

If you reduce the Maf Size value you can reduce the load values such that it passes through the same load cells pretty much.
