Having lived in Germany, I can tell you this:

Parent companies will not honor warranties unless otherwise implied, ie; BMW and Volvo european delivery programs. In your situation, you're SOL. This is one reason I did not buy and then ship while I lived over there

I had the same thing happen to me while stationed at Ramstein. I learned to turn a wrench there because I didn't trust the automotive shops on base. You can always call Ralliart and see if they can help you. There's one up north by Hamburg and I thought there's also one east of Frankfurt but I can't seem to find it. If anything, they can tell you if there's another shop closer to you.

Here's all I can find at the moment. You can use the itinerery on www.mappy.com to find it.

Kind of sucks, but at least you have killer auto hobby shops to wrench on in. What seems to be the problem with the car?

Enjoy Europe...that was some of the best time in my life!

Redline06, It is true.. European Mitsu will not honor US SPEC Evos'... My clutch is toast at 27K miles.. Guess that is pretty good, considering I've been pushing it for most of the last 22K.. anyway, before I kill the wallet, does anyone have the patience and knowledge to help change one out nearby?? I would definitely compensate.. I have done one in my life, but that was with a knowledgeable mitsu guy.. Thanks for any help or possible info on a shop that would rape me slightly (like, less than 500 euro).. thanks all... Sorry for whoring on your thread..

I was one bolt away from dropping my tranny, but between my torn PCL and my really tiny garage my frustration got the best of me and I put it back together and took it somewhere. Which bolt was it? Also make sure you have a slide hammer. I ran around for 2days trying to find one.
