They have about 5 places around the KMCC - one outside the east gate of Ramstein and the other inside the Benz dealership on the west (this is the one I went too). When they first gave me a quote, it was around $1600/yr because they had the evo down as a lancer. I was like, "wait a minute, so I total my car - I only get 5000 euro." I quickly got it straighted out.

 

I finalized the paperwork with Atlantic Trust, if you pay up front for the year, the give you a discount. After everything was settle, I am paying $1905 for the year for full coverage on a 07 BMW 328i (no lien on it) and full coverage on an 03 evo (no lien also) with a 500 euro decductable. big savings compared for the $4200 USAA had me at.

 

I just got a break on my insurance with USAA, with the Sirocco off my insurance and adding one Golf II I went from 307 a month to 255 and when I add my other Golf II I am going to buy for myself its gonna drop to 200 a month for 3 cars. Damn Sirocco added more money for a beater which is weird.

 

Funny, I just renewed mine today with AIG Europe (it's actually Geico) and it went down $80 a month!! I am still paying a boatload but it went down not up.

They also tried to pull that one year crap on me and I said whats the worst that can happen, you cancel me. You sure as hell aren't going to send me to collection because the coverage is dropped as soon as you don't pay, so nothing owed!

 

well I know i stated before,about the insurance things,but usaa has been so helpful with me.So maybe it depends on things.Im a single guy,don really know how much but around 2800 for the year on 3cars for me at the time,but i paid up front too.And annother thing too remember ADAC,so you can take the rental off your car,and towing,that will save you big.And if any of you own a americanexpress that will give u discounts in germany also,you dont have too pay for insurance on the rental,and you recieve a percentage off because your a member. USAA worked for me had an accident with the evo,got 30k for the car,and the car not a bad deal.
